As of yesterday I was still December/January; checked this morning and no estimate at all. Anyone else have this happen?

yeah, seems like they removed it. im a July 2022 order and ive never had a delivery estimate window.

i did get an email from customer service asking me to call them about my configuration. to either set my configuration online to lock in pricing or go to the Shop. they are saying "Most customer configurations are ready for delivery in about four months" so i guess thats the delivery estimate window now. however, in the configurator you can't custom build with the Standard or Standard+ battery so it doesnt even have config i would want.

my guess is they are trying to direct as many people to the Shop as possible, which makes sense.

i already have an R1T and with interest rates where they are, not sure it makes financial sense to pull the trigger on the R1S. plus i want to see what the R2 is going to be. plus I want to see where Rivian will be financially over the next 9-12 months.

You won't have a delivery window unless you confirm your configuration (essentially making your deposit non refundable).

That said, Aug 2022 order, confirmed Oct 2023, end of Nov received estimate Feb-Mar 2024 window, then in Dec received shop access and then back to "pending estimate" - no word from guide, and the shop never has my config anyways, so still waiting (and technically not yet outside the original delivery window).

Same. And here I was getting myself all excited my config was finally being built. ?‍♂

The delivery window and my shop access both disappeared yesterday.

Aug 2019 pre-order, R1S LE; multiple delivery windows since, latest was Feb.-Mar. 2024; confirmed configuration Nov. 2023 giving up deposit when I then had an Oct.-Nov. 2023 delivery window; end of that month it reset to Feb.-Mar. 2024.
Delivery estimate now no longer appears. No Shop access.

Stuck in the >200-mile-from-SC desert and eagerly awaiting their resolution of this feature of their order-delivery process.

PS - at the time of order configuration last November I was informed that now that order is confirmed “we estimate delivery of a vehicle to be 4 months from that date.” Maybe by March 31st?….

I'm a 2020 pre-order, also with an R1S LE configured. My order page has shown "Processing estimate" in the delivery window space for many months. That changed yesterday and instead now also shows "Configuration confirmed" however, I've retained shop access. This seems consistent with the updated info in the email that Rivian recently sent.

Oh man, 2019?!! At least you made this Jan. 2022 person feel a bit better. I confirmed configuration in Oct. 2023. I'm just 25 miles from the Denver SC, so I guess that is the difference. For a while there, before shop access mysteriously went dark, I was half convinced they were just trying to get me to opt for a max in the shop. I need pretty good range, which is why I switched from Quad to Dual, but no way I'm paying $10k for 40 miles. Now I think they're just punishing me.

Not sure if the greater than 200 miles from service center still applies. January 2022 R1S pre-order, delivered by Rivian to my home in North Idaho on December 22, 2023, from Bellevue Washington service center, over 300 miles away. Also a service center in Boise 382 miles away. Rivian delivery techs indicated they thought there was a mobile service technician in Eastern Washington somewhere? 1500 miles in, no issues other than minor Rivian home charger issue. Love the vehicle.

Congrats!
With a lack of transparency on the situation, I suspect the >200 mile issue will be resolved geographically as they build out infrastructure. Time will tell.
I suspect state policies will also play in - already been told that mobile service will be my only option in Louisiana and if SC visit is required they will work with me to address it.

I know I have options, i.e. change my delivery address to my son’s in Orlando, but, so far, I’m curiously and patiently waiting with great anticipation to see how and when this is resolved.
