What level of corrosion (aka steel rust) protection does this product offer? Just primer, or galvanized steel? What’s under ‘da hood (aka powder coat), @DCE?

It would be similar to scraping any automotive car frame, if it's deep enough to expose the raw steel, it will rust. If this happens, we recommend having a black paint pen handy to cover up any of the exposed areas to prevent rust.
