Just curious, what is it made out of? The description just says "Premium, Matte Black Plastic".

We 3D print the anchoring mechanism and ball mount (with very high quality) using carbon fiber infused ABS. The puck has an aluminum case (not 3D printed) and the OBD to USB-C is injection molded plastic.Just curious, what is it made out of? The description just says "Premium, Matte Black Plastic".
Apologies for the delay, had a busy week...Would you consider making a version for the passenger side?
With proper MagSafe case, as @SwampNut mentioned, it holds really well... I've never had my phone fall off, and I live in the Bay Area, it's basically off-roading on half the streetsOk, so I've always used a "grabber" style for the phones (non-charging)... having never used this style charger, is it really as simple as set your phone there and grab it when you leave? It really stays in place? I use a slim(ish) silicone case on mine (Otofly 1.2mm) - would it still work?
No worries! That’s good to hear. I’d love to have a matching one for the passengerApologies for the delay, had a busy week...
Yes, that one won't have a charging version though, due to the lack of OBD port there.
Oh shoot that’s a defective one for sure! Let me send a new puck. Please DM me with the order #.Excited to receive the charger today but quickly discovered a manufacturing or design defect. After installing it, I noticed the charger was flopping on the ball instead of sitting firm. Determined that the female portion of the ball socket (attached to the rear of the charger plate) wasn't attached firmly, and easily popped off in spite of the adhesive and screw. Further discovered either the threads in the charger are stripped or the screw is too small. Unfortunately I only have spare screws down to M3 which are way too large here.
@twraps would appreciate your help in getting this resolved as I've already removed the cabling and mounts from my prior dash mount charger.

The OBD to USB-C adapter is 30W, the puck is limited to 15W though. In reality I am getting about 12.5W and that would still depend on charge level of the phone, towards the end of charging it drops, which is regulated by iOS.Iphone 16's should get 15W with Qi2 and 25W with OEM MagSafe.
1) Will your current version hit 15W with a 16?
2) As others have asked, will you offer an OEM MagSafe option to get to 25W?
For the 25W, I believe it needs a 30W charger. Does the OBD have an output of 30W?
