Ah! Thanks much! I was looking right past it with that description.
I suspect if you are actually getting regular updates that your BMS has been updated too. There's probably some versioning safety that prevents future updates from happening if some component gets too out of date. It'd be nice if Rivian didn't hide the RIDE menu behind a longer number because that would at least show when there's a mismatch.
Ah, then this does not apply to me. I didn't opt for the diesel version.
if you look at the 2023.6 OTA thread, you'll see a few people failing to update (me included). We are currently stuck on 2023.2. I haven't contacted Rivian yet to get them to update the firmware.

I am thinking they just remove the panel that sometimes people have had fall off and not remove the whole subframe?I think this is a first (and not in a good sense):

I'm obviously guessing - Sounds like the BMS lost the ability to communicate on one of the networks and they have to connect to the board manually, or replace the board?
That would make more sense. I was reading it as panel and rear subframe. You are suggesting it means the “rear subframe panel”.
