If Autofitpro hasn't been able to secure any sort of quantity pricing, that may be as good as we get for a discount and beats the 5% coupon I had. I have to be honest, even at $90/each, that still seems vastly overpriced.

I have no doubt that the manufacturer makes bed caps for other vehicles. I would be more hesitant if this Rivian topper is their first rodeo.

they do it for other trucks but the rivian is the first because there is no data/vehicle available overseas so a lot of details need to be tweaked. I wouldn’t trust them if they start from scratch.

If I hadn't just bought a manual tonnea cover, I'd be more likely to just go with the original mounting approach but I really want to hide stuff in the bed and the tonneau cover will do it nicely.

So the most that they can do is 15% off, but with the additional shipping from my side. It makes no difference. They mentioned that the 10% ongoing is a pretty good deal.

I went to order them yesterday, and the discount was no longer available. Does anybody else have that issue?

Someone had mentioned padded u-bolts. Does anyone have a link for them? I may just go that route if we don't do a group buy/quantity discount on the Weistec or something similar.

The shipping company screwed up my delivery. It should have been here on Friday from what I can tell. They shipped it out late from Houston and wouldn't even hit Dallas until it was supposed to be within my delivery window.

Then, apparently, they will have to go through the entire delivery window process again, and since it wouldn't arrive until late Friday, delivery on Monday wouldn't be an option as they'll basically check it on that day. So at best, it will be Tuesday

I had rented a trailer to move it easier by myself to where I'll work on it. If the shipping company had at least updated me, I could have avoided that. If I hadn't called them enough times to actually get through to a real operator, I still wouldn't have known. Every time I called it would just go to a computerized system that just kept repeating my delivery window and asking if I wanted to change it. I finally figured out a way to get a real operator and found out what was going on.

I received a notification yesterday from ABF that my shipment, which must be the topper (I haven't ordered anything else that weighs 200 lbs, so unless my wife has purchased another anvil (yes, that's a possibility, but she hasn't yet worn out the last one), I can't imagine it would be anything else), will be delivered Monday! Yes, I will post photos.
