@Autofitpro I finally caught up on this thread because I have not been really following.

If we bulk order weistec, they are near me and I can just do local pick up and we can work together in shipping them out so that we don’t do the double shipping.

as far as the load in the crossbar anchors, it says that the crossbar load is 250lbs but is that for the actual crossbar or is it the latch points? It could be stronger directly from the latch point. I know I’ve used them to tie down some stuff in my bed before but nothing too crazy.

Yes so we just need a few metal plates and we should be able to do the crossbar mount.

For those interested, pulled the trigger one one of these to use with my topper. They haven’t made the custom fit version, but chatting with customer service these are the same you just need to DIY trim. Will keep you posted, but cost was worth a try:

The new toppers will not come with these special mounting components as they have to be custom made by another company. I am still trying to find out the pricing for a set of 4 but it’s likely going to be too expensive to be worth making it overseas.

Hopefully this can be resolved by the time my topper shows up. I absolutely want to go this route. I sold my old tonneau cover and bought a manual one that will work with this style of mounting. I want the additional privacy of the tonneau cover.

Put my order in, camera isn’t a blocker but would be nice. It looks like it has an LED brake light integrated. Were you able to get this functional?

My understanding is the light is on the topper but no wiring to integrate it.
