I can only imagine the noise made from those utensils banging around in the course of driving.
But still, a great idea.
I'd like a portable shower with hot water too.
Plus a berth with solid walls, not a floppy tent.
Here's hoping.

I have been hoping for info about a power source in the tunnel. I saw where it was lighted but I have seen no mention of power plugs. This leads me to believe there will be one available.

Charles Sanderson from Rivian mentions there is power in the gear tunnel during a Q&A at the Overland Expo that you can easily tap into, say, for charging your tools. Check out the video in forum thread "Australian 4WD Adventure Show interviews Charles Sanderson at Overland Expo"

TechCrunch got an up close tour of the pull-out kitchen while at the Overland Expo. https://techcrunch.com/2019/07/08/rivians-camp-kitchen-in-action/

The TechCrunch article includes a link to a video they also posted (I included below) which reveals more information about the kitchen like the lite weight materials used though the design and materials of the production version may change.
