The only number was ~60k in less than 24 hours.Anyone know the current, total number of R2 reservations? Haven't seen this reported anywhere.
A large number of folks will not buy a car unless they can test drive it first. Based on what I have seen and using my estimated price point of 55-60k (base model will not be available for a good while after launch) I think it will sell very well.
Not a number Rivian is sharing.Bumping this to ask if anyone knows how many reservations have been placed. I just reserved this week so I'd love to know how far down the queue I sit
Same on the Ford Lightning.Reservations do not matter, it's how many people turn their reservation into an actual sale. Just look at the CT reservations, they were supposedly in the millions, now they are starting to pile up on lots.
Proud to be one of those:Just look at the CT reservations, they were supposedly in the millions, now they are starting to pile up on lots.
I was pulling for Canoo. That truck looked like a Mars rover, and I wanted one. That was an unusual design like the CT, but unlike the CT it was attractive.Proud to be one of those:
In 2019 it was exciting. In 2024, after having my Rivian for nearly two years and Elon "going crazy", I'm glad I got my deposit back. Still have a deposit on Silverado EV (reminds me, haven't heard a peep about that), and Canoo. I was always hoping for that one, but it doesn't look good for them.
