I don’t think the price premium for paint color will translate to resale. I just really like RB but I know that’s $ lost when I sell some day.

For that many miles in this market that's a pretty solid get (for the seller).
Am I missing something, but all the sales on Cars and Bids are for 2022 vehicles, not 2023. I know if I were to trade a 2022 vehicle to a dealer he would tell me the vehicle is one year old. So, I think the prices are reflective of a used car albeit low miles but a year old. I would Assume all deliveries now are for 2023’s vehicles. Am I correct?

It’s possible they are still trying to deliver vehicles made in that end of year crush but even those could have 2023 VIN #s. Rivian gets to decide when that flips over to the next year. If it has a P in the VIN it’s a 2023.

Don't forget to add the 4.5% fee to the prices of these. That's another $4-4.5K the buyer is spending.

Price premium for paint colors never transfers to resale... Color is almost never factored for trade. You might attract a buyer to your vehicle vs. another on the market like it if they want your color.

R1T prices on the secondary market are holding steady in the low to mid $80K range. Which is reasonable and where they should be. It's not a flipper's market anymore. Rivian isn't producing anywhere close to Ford Lightning quantity here, but they're steadily rolling off the line. More of them out there every day... R1S will normalize quickly as the market has softened overall...

Launch Green is the only color that will theoretically disappear and might be added value to a used buyer at resale, but I doubt it. I think all the colors are pretty good and none of them - except maybe yellow - are going to hurt resale value. And I'm not even sure about yellow as it's a good looking yellow.
