just got the policy renewal bill and they raised the rate by 9% after the initial 6 months.

Tesla insurance raises the rate too in my experience.

Tesla insurance raises the rate too in my experience.

Not sure I understand this statement but my situation is that the Rivian Nationwide insurance policy for my R1T increased their bi-annual premium by 9% in the last 6 months (since Sep 2022) at time of renewal. I suspect this is mostly due to repair costs and/or incident rates.

I'm not trying to suggest that adding a Rivian (or Tesla) to your insurance will increase your rates.
