Why have a normal looking vehicle when you can have one with an enormous front grill and high hood that are guaranteed to kill the pedestrian you hit because you literally can’t see them?I don't understand why trucks continue to look more like transformers robots with more and more unnecessary embellishment, decals, etc.

Because 6th graders are always trying to prove something. Same answer to both questionsQuestions:
- What is that thing trying to compensate for?
- why is it Toyota seems to only employ 6th graders as designers?
