To answer your question though, there will be a welded top plate.

I often have a 5 gallon jug of water and other supplies in my gear tunnel, and I don't want them flopping around on sharp turns. I would love to have an immobilizer like a ratcheting cargo bar (with a corresponding fixed bar for the other side of the object to immobilize). Currently I just stuff empty boxes in the void for a friction fit.

That's a good idea! Like a ratcheting truck bed cargo restraint, but designed for the gear tunnel.

love that idea! I have the pro eagle Kratos Jack in my gear tunnel and no matter how much I try to wedge it In eventually it breaks free and starts rolling around.

Yeah a shuttle would be too cool and over the top. I was thinking something more simple like a couple of fixed racks on back and front wall of the tunnel with the 2 sets of holders on each. Just a couple of rings form fitted to the shape of the tunnel with the gun holders attached.

On that note: @electruck4x4 a lockable safe like container that goes where the camp speaker docks and takes advantage of the locked while driving function would be
