Just wondering if anyone else has had a hard time with any non rivian AC chargers? I’m having a hard time with the charger I have installed at home. My wife drives a Taycan and we have the Porsche charger installed which I use to charge R1T at home. I got the truck in June and up until about November I had no issue with using this charger. Now for the last several weeks I am just getting a certificate error - oddly the truck still charges. During this time I have also used other AC chargers and had no issues whatsoever.

Any idea what could be causing this issue?

I use a couple of Emporia chargers for my AC charging, have had no issues.

Is the error on the Truck or the charger?

Have you tried cutting the power to the charger, waiting a few minutes and powering it back up?

Have you contacted Porche to see if there any software updates needed? I know for the Tesla Universal charger a lot of us had to contact Rivian to push out the 'Other Car Brand' firmware.

Maybe something similar that was broken in a OTA update to that charger?

I get the error in the truck or the Rivian app right after connecting. Just says Certificate Error check app. Red box around the charger outlet - but truck still charges. No warnings or error on the charger..

I would still try power cycling the charger.

As @Osyras mentioned above, might want to check with the charger mfg if a power cycle does not clear it and see if they have an update for the charger. The message is talking about a certificate error, could be something as simple as an expired certificate.

I've gotten a couple errors the past week with my Grizzl-E - didn't note the actual error. It worked fine the next try. Haven't had any issues until recently since I got the charger 2 years ago.
