Friend of a friend is PR guy at rivian. Even he had zero news for me.

a Neighbour has an R1S LE with a july-sept delivery window, along with a max pack R1T preorder. not sure if he ended up cancelling or not but I wouldn’t be surprised.


there ought to be some sort of update by the end of June, after all lots of people have July-sept delivery windows

Considering they aren't supposed to apply for Canadian certification till September and the R1S is delayed in the U.S, I highly doubt you'll be getting one anytime soon, unfortunately.

the SEC filing that stated as much - goal is to get application for Transport Canada approval by Sept.

Also, check the ? in your account. Do you have a Guide assigned?

I’m so confused. Amazing if this means Canadian deliveries are actually starting but it seems so counter to everything we’ve been told on delivery windows for Canada and R1S’s! Fingers crossed! Keep us posted!

I sent them an email asking for more clarification as I don’t appear to have a guide assigned but I’ve also read that there is a Canadian guide out there as well so maybe soon. I will update when I hear anything further.
