From my experience any significant change in temperature can make it expand a bunch in a matter of hours. As long as you’re leaving it somewhere with a steady temp overnight they should be able to help.I have Safelite scheduled for tomorrow morning. Hope they can patch it up. We will see. Also curious how a rainstorm will affect it.
My experience has been if you use a quality repair kit that forces the epoxy into the damaged area fully then the crack won’t spread.Interested in the follow-up: to me, the windshield looks like it is finished.
If they patch it up, it can see thru extreme weather easily.
