Tried the R1T camping for the first time and was able to use all the comfort features of home while camping.

We brought an Electric Grill, Keurig, ARB refrigerator, and Waffle iron. Powered them all through the R1T.

Had amazing views of ocean and Catalina Island off in the distance very clear day.

Used the Camp feature no complaints here. I liked the fact that the lights and sounds where disabled so we wouldn't bother other campers.

We used the grill three time for approximately 30 mins each time, the Keurig made several rounds of drinks for several campers, and 4 waffles. I noticed very mild Battery drain only lost 6% of battery each day but cant quantify how much was do to electric usage for appliances versus normal vampire drain.

We served quiet a few hot drinks to people interested in the truck.

This is awesome! Thanks for sharing. How do you like the FireMagic grill? I've been searching for an electric grill for camping, but haven't seen this one yet. It looks nice.

Love the write-up and pics. Thanks for sharing. I spy a similar Gazelle tent in the background to what I have.

Looks like Orange County somewhere - where were you camping?

We love it. on the pricey side but made in the USA in California it is very solid (heavy) all stainless has a great warranty. gets up to 800 degrees so you can sear Tuna or steaks. we actually put a small iron pot on it to do soup that night. Not what its meant for but it worked.

It is setup for home table top grilling, so there are no latches to keep it closed, but it does fit perfect in the frunk.

Thank you. I'm going to take a serious look at this now. Made in California with a great warranty are huge selling points. 800* temperature control is great, too. I appreciate your perspective, and will have to check out that awesome camp site someday, too!

I used two plywood planks so they could come apart and be stored in the gear tunnel if I needed the extra people space. I just tacked and glued the carpet down to give it a nice finish.

the rear portion was tricky with all the contours and posts but honestly it helps lock it in place.

it can also be used to hall dogs around with out them scratching the vegan leather. The seats in the up position create more of a barrier so they don't jump up front.

I attached the four brackets that came with the ARB fridge and set them up to swivel down when I want the surface to be flat. nice added feature is the top of the fridge is lined up with the window so i can get into the fridge without opening the door.

It is hard to get into, very popular, may have to book 6 months in advance.

That is really cool - I like it. I guess you plugged the fridge into the 12 volt outlet under the dash in front. Thanks.

I plugged it into the 110v outlet under the rear screen.

I'll get some other picture of it stored and in place without the fridge tomorrow.

This is exactly how I plan to carry my fridge. However, how about hinging the plywood at the halfway point, so that the driver’s side, under seat storage area could be easily accessed?

I thought about that but you would have to put a support piece of some kind below if it fold in two direction the center area will be prone to collapse inward. But it is doable I just keep my just in case stuff down in the area and hopefully I dont need it, if I do I'm having a bad day anyway.
