Has anyone else used the Camp Speaker with Spotify, and had an issue with it pausing randomly? While washing the truck, I regularly pull the speaker to jam out. Even now I'm using the speaker while chilling solo, and it keeps freaking pausing. I've tried force stopping the Rivian app and Spotify, disconnecting and reconnecting, nothing seems to help. Also I shouldn't have to do anything for it to just play music without pausing.

I'm running Pixel 5 on Android 13, had this same problem on Android 11. I may have held off updating to 12 with its issues.

I have issue with iPhone and Bluetooth speaker with Spotify app. My resolution is to connect to speaker and then open/launch Spotify app. While neither are an android phone or Rivian speaker, it might be worth trying if you haven’t already.

I ran into this issue while I was using the speaker in my garage and I assumed my truck kept thinking I was entering and took over spotify from my phone. Using the speaker at the beach I switched the truck into camp mode and that seemed to limit the amount of pausing unless I opened the truck door.

No solutions. There was a spotify update that claimed to fix it, and it happened less often.…but still happened 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Annoying as hell!
just seems to be a broader problem is all.

ive since switched from using Spotify(for unrelated reasons).

Infotainment reset. Hold left and right steering wheel buttons for 15sec
For my camp speaker / phone's Spotify issue? I never considered this. I thought it would be separate from the truck, which is often in sleep mode with the problem occurs.

... Unless it's having nightmares and interrupting my podcasts to send me a signal?!

I'm sorry, I'm having trouble with that right now. Please try again in a little bit...

I would try disconnecting other output devices. I've had similiar issues sometimes when I connect to multiple outputs with my phone...e.g. my TV and headphones or bluetooth speaker and headphones.

I've only noticed it with Spotify on my phone...S21 Ultra. Disconnect other speakers, restart Spotify, g2g

So after trying all different combinations of things, this one seems to solve it:

Turn on Spotify on my phone
Play something through the phone speaker
Connect to camp speaker

On another note, does anyone else find the activation sound obnoxious and loud?
