I haven't used the camp speaker a lot. It took a while to learn that you pair it with your phone, not the truck. Yesterday I was setting out on a 50-mile shopping trip. When I got in the truck, I found that the Rivian error chord was sounding about every thirty seconds. Very loud. I soon found that the tone was coming from the camp speaker. I pulled it out and tried the buttons. The only one that worked was the microphone mute (whatever that is). The tone wouldn't stop. I didn't want that during the whole trip, so I put the speaker in the yard. When I got home several hours later, the tone had stopped. I brought it in the house and left it charging overnight with the charger I use with my phone. I don't know if it actually charged. All the buttons are lit up and it doesn't respond to any of them (except the mute button). I'm wondering if there is some way to reset it. What if I drained the battery until it was dead by hooking up every chargeable device I have? Would that reset it? Or is this another repair/replace situation?

Page 213 in the current R1S Owner's manual:

To reset the speaker, hold the white action button for 3 seconds to turn it completely off. Then hold down for 3 seconds to power it back on.

If that doesn't work, you can do a "hardware reset" by holding the bluetooth button down for 30 seconds.

Let us know...

I had this exact same problem this morning also. I found somewhere on line to hold three of the camp speakers down to cause a reset, and it turned off. I left it in the gear tunnel, didn't want to bring it inside if it started making noise again. I don't remember which buttons I pressed, it was after a 12 hour night shift. The noise was extremely annoying, but probably helped keep me awake.

I think I have only used the camp speaker twice, back in November, when I first got the truck.
