Camp kitchen shown off by RJ

This is the best content I've seen from them in a real long time.

Love it. Almost makes me want to buy it.

Love it. Can't wait to get mine. Removing it seems really easy.
I'm curious how is the power supplied to the cooktop. I don't see her unplugging anything before removal of the cooktop module.

I think they were plugged into that outlet on the gear shuttle.

Ok, that’s pretty sweet looking. If I were considering a man R1T (R1S probably suits my needs a lot better), I’d be reeeaaaly tempted! But if I’m going to pick at nits, it looks like having the sink deployed means you can’t open the rear passenger-side door! That seems like a less-than-ideal design choice.

I don't think so. I don't see her unplugging anything before removal. They also have plastic covers on the outlets after the module is removed. If that outlet was intended to be used by the kitchen they would have to swing it open before placing the module on top.

EDIT:
I think you're right. There is flap on the camp kitchen module. You probably reach through it and plug it in.

Who says you need the walls? I just don't want to cook in the rain...That is what the tent is for....considering it is a "Four Seasons" tent.

What a neat video. I'm waiting for my R1S, but if I was a R1T buyer I'd be really tempted to get this.

Also gave another great look at Rivian Blue. As others have said across a number of threads, that this blue can look different in different pics due to lighting, filters etc. I hope what we saw in the video is "the one" as I think it looks gorgeous.

I noticed they eliminated the separate kettle heating drawer on the "drawer side" of the kitchen. That's too bad...I liked that feature which would have given you basically 3 burners instead of just the two on the cook-top. Now you have to use one of the cook-top burners for your coffee kettle. A bit of a bummer.

What's the dark grey R1T in the background?

OK, that's pretty cool.

One question I have. What if a young kiddo is in the back seat and decides to open the door? Or, does the door automatically lock when the camp-kitchen is deployed?
