Bugs in the latest firmware (2025.14.30)

Just some things I've noticed:

• Bluetooth volume control on the steering wheel can be incredibly laggy, sometimes it takes ~5 seconds or so to catch up.
• I can't seem to keep nav volume at zero, it sporadically returns to speak directions.
• I can't figure out how to keep the charging animation on, even when unlocked at home.

Apple Music is back to consistent stability issues

The nav randomly started speaking to me yesterday too and I thought I hit the screen or something!

That’s odd. My nav stopped speaking to me and I needed to turn the speech back on.

Bluetooth will completely stop playing audio. I’ve figured out a weird trick - if you leave the Bluetooth audio setting in the entertainment screen and select anything else - like Sirius or FM- it will play audio. Then you go back to your Bluetooth audio and the phone will play audio again.

my screen is still laggy as all get out. It’s really bad. And my PAAK now works at random distances too. Sometimes my car opens up at 15 feet away. Sometimes I have to stand next to my door and hold my phone up to the car.

Same. Nav muted after the update. Easy to unmute, but was wondering what was going on. Also, the radio kept playing for several mins after I locked the Rivian. Also was unable to use the network as a hotspot. :/

Ironically I had the nav muted and using satellite maps, and after the update the audio was turned on and sat maps was turned off.

I had the same behavior - it was jarring, and I shouted at my truck like Scotty from Star Trek. "COMPUTER! SHUT THIS OFF!"

Also, the volume between Atmos and non-atmos tracks is all over the place now in Apple Music. But the app is stable.

With respect to the PaaK issues in this and previous updates, I have not experienced them. Did the Rivian app always have the “Always” allow location access option? I generally only allow location access when using apps, if at all.

However, the comment from Rivian about PaaK not not needing the app open when location access set to Always looks new to me:

For me, NAV voice can't say 18 as in SR 18, can't say southeast, northwest, northeast or any combination of those.

Also, when you unplug the charger, the vehicle doesn't wake up. Have to open a door for it to wake up and it's slow doing that.

2025.14.xx noticed bugs continued:

-unable to load satellite view for navigation map

-route planning does not incorporate Tesla Superchargers

I have found that the tilt mirrors and seat return from roomy exit stopped working after it sleeps.

I have of course done a soft reset and a hard reset, neither fixed it.

Each morning I get in and the seat does not return from room exit position. I manually tell it to return and it does so. I drive a short trip and it doesn't drop the seat to roomy exit when I get out. It will on subsequent trips that day so it must somehow reset. Same with the tilt mirrors. First thing in the morning, it doesn't work. Later in the day it will.

I checked and had this set to Always as well and see what you see. However, when I closed my app, I get this message. Seems very contradictory.

I had that too but after a soft reset, it fixed itself.
