I've put just under 1,000 miles on my new tires, and while these are preliminary thoughts, I'm generally very pleased with the new Duelers. I'd rate them a solid 8/10.

Bridgestone promotes their new Enliten technology, which is designed to enhance efficiency, although these tires aren't specifically tuned for EVs. I've noticed a slight drop in efficiency compared to the OEM Pirellis, with a range reduction of about 3%. However, there have been many variables, including a decrease in temperature. Traction and efficiency noticeably improved after the tires had broken in around 500 miles, and I'm hopeful they might improve further with more miles.

In terms of ride quality, they meet my expectations for an all-terrain LT tire. The steering response is comparable to the OEM tires, and the truck feels solid through corners with excellent grip on both dry and wet pavement. They are substantially quieter with a small hum at around 50 mph. Also, on good pavement, they nice and smooth.

I experimented with the tire pressure, going up to 60 PSI, but finally settled on 52 PSI cold. The ride quality is slightly stiffer, as expected from an LT tire, and aligns with reviews I've read for other brands in the same category. The difference in ride quality isn't necessarily negative; I feel more confident tackling potholes, and the tires seem very durable. I no longer worry about taking the truck off-road on rocky terrain, as I've heard many people have had issues with Pirelli sidewall punctures.

I've received several compliments on the aesthetics of the tires. They have an aggressive look, but not overly so.

A major deciding factor for choosing these tires was the convenience of purchasing and having them installed at my local Costco, as the nearest Discount Tire is about an hour and a half away from where I live.

I am very happy with the purchase and have no regrets. I would still choose these over the other LT tire options. The only remaining tire out there that I am still wondering about is the SL version of the Toyo EV’s. While it doesn’t seem likely, if these tires are eventually able to match the OEM in efficiency after breaking in further, I will be over the moon.

I hope this helps but if you have other questions, let me know and I will do my best to respond.

Did you provide Costco with the pucks? Just wondered how install went.

I did bring my own pucks but my local Costco already had a set. Store manager said he went out and bought some after having issues using the pucks a prior customer brought in. Installation was smooth and absolutely no issues. They knew what they were doing as they have worked on Rivian’s in the past.

@Djordje Is it possible you could provide more insight into the range impact, not what it's been ~ 6 months. I'm looking hard at this tire. I'm limiting my search to Costco for the convenience factor and excellent service. Did you evaluate Firestone Destination X/T?

I wonder how performance compares with the Trail Terrain, which was recently released for 22''. I've been looking at the Trail Terrain because it's available from Costco and I'm lazy about looking for a new tire place (no Discount Tire in the Northeast).
I've got a set of Trail Terrians on my Jeep and they are surprisingly good for a basic all-terrain tire. Their snow performance in particular was much better than I had expected. But on road or off road, they seem to do everything pretty well. And they are almost as quiet as your average all-season tire.

Still very pleased with the tire. They improved substantially after a break-in period of about 1000 miles.

It’s hard to say exactly the effects on range as weather has dropped substantially. The efficiency numbers I’m getting now compared to last winter…. I would say that there is roughly a 5% decline in efficiency. I notice it a lot more doing short trips around town. I live in a very hilly area and take a lot of short trips to the store or to pick up the kids from school. That’s where I notice it the most. On long highway drives it is much closer to the efficiency I was getting with the OEM Perelli‘s.

I also should mention that I recently had my vehicle in for service. The technician took my vehicle for a test drive after the work was complete. He commented on how these tires are much quieter and smoother than the Perelli‘s.

Ultimately, I believe these are the best option for an E load tire. If efficiency is a big concern, I would probably advise to stick with an SL version or go with a 33 inch 275/60/20 option.

I hope that helps.

Excellent update. I do off-road trips often, so good performing tires are important. Range is important for some of my trips as EV chargers are not as accessable. But this is a highly rated tire and not much heavier than the stock. Good comprimise I would say and I'm comfortable with some minimal reduction. This is my #1 right now because it's costco :)

Have you driven them much in the snow?

I bought these a few weeks back. Ride very well. I had 28k miles on my truck previously @ 2.2m/kw - mostly OEM 20’s and many off-road trips at altitude. My new Ascents are at 500 miles with 2.2m/kw and some off-road. Not as excited about how they look. Will update periodically as I put more miles on.

Tire Rack has a good review/summary (looks like the Terra Grappler beat the Dueler by a pretty wide margin):

“The Dueler A/T Ascent was an interesting tire to drive on a wet surface. “

Bridgestone's Dueler A/T Ascent was well-rounded, but everything felt like a step back compared to the top-performers. It struggled to clear the Emergency Lane Change, it was a bit of a handful in the wet. It did a commendable job controlling noise and making the on-road experience livable, but even that comes with the caveat of accepting some uncomfortable repetitive movement.

Nitto's Terra Grappler G3 was actually our test-leader on the wet track by a wide margin and swept every other tire in objective and subjective measurements. It wasn't bad during dry testing either, but for an "on-road" tire, more attention should have been paid to its noise management and general comfort to really lock it down. Still, a solid performer.

Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent
Road Ride: In a word: "firm." Larger impacts were noticeable, but mostly cushioned. Small, repetitive motion was transmitted directly enough to shake our testers' bodies, however. There was persistent roar from tread interaction over the initial crosscut concrete that remained through the majority of the ride and rose in volume at highway speeds, occasionally joined in concert by tones over other surfaces. Notably a warble on the smoothest roads, and a coarse, hollow grind over chip and seal. Volume-wise, it was reasonable for the category overall. The steering feel was somewhat mixed: it felt good on-center at higher speeds, and responsive when given direction otherwise, but took more input at lower speeds.

Wet Track: The Dueler A/T Ascent was an interesting tire to drive on a wet surface. The steering wasn't particularly eager or happy to comply with big inputs. Given enough time and distance to adjust brake zones, it could be saved from understeering through a turn, but it would still step out at the rear. Essentially, one of the two axles wasn't going to behave, and it was up to the driver to decide which one.

Dry Characteristics/Emergency Lane Change: It struggled to complete the ELC maneuver, and failed more often than it succeeded. The steering felt delayed; there was a slight moment between turning the wheel and getting a response that made reacting to momentary changes more difficult. Too much speed or any added hesitation on inputs, and it wouldn't clear the lane change. If it transitioned into understeer, there was little that could be done to recover it.
