Not sure if anyone here experienced the R1T Phantom Power Drain over night that was reported in MotorTrend? or is it a single case ? or this topic is been covered before here before??
just read the motortrend article - I am personally becoming disillusioned with motortrend and Rivian content - the last paragraph on the article pretty much sums it up:
Bottom line is, although this particular trip got stressful, there were viable solutions, and I made it out fine with a little on-the-spot planning. What's more, this exact scenario no longer exists. Yes, EVs do still have some limitations compared to gas-powered vehicles, but they're not hard to work around, and they're shrinking every day
Seems like Rivian content gets them clicks and anything controversial around Rivian they can post is good for business - good for them
