@iansriv People are absolutely nuts these days. They are trying to get others that don't agree with their insights towards society in general. I normally try to just ignore those people. I loved my Tesla and if space wasn't a problem, i would have kept it until I am physically challenged to get in and out of it. The R1T is great sliding in and out though. I wanted the best of both worlds...and sleek sports sedan and an sleek truck! Can't have both in my situation.

PS does anyone know if it's normal to make a noise on the front (could be the air suspension or something else) when I go over a speed bump at 10-15mph? It sounds like a small clunk. I don't hear anything else when driving on the road normally. Should I be concerned and have it checked out by Rivian? Don't really want to do service centers if not necessary. I haven't had much time to look around under the frunk section as I barely got my insurance. The air suspension seems to be working fine, no leaks, no sudden adjustments, etc..Anyhow if anyone can chime in that would greatly appreciated!

I've been getting anywhere from 2.5-3.0miles/kw for efficiency! I do drive like a grandpa and have high regen on!

How many miles on your truck? Are you letting off the throttle when going over a bump or just steady state? Doesn't sound like the jounce lines but could be. Hard to say without hearing it.

I'd drive your truck for a while and then pool all your service requests.

It looks like you have a quad, if you aren't accelerating hard, just put in conserve mode and get even better efficiency.

As for sedan and truck, I am trying to keep one of each as long as I can. Or until my wife complains too much about having them both, that I have to finally part with one.

It has only 16,6XX miles on her. Yeah I'm trying to find and sort out whatever needs to be serviced and put it on the app/request service. I just finished the transfer of ownership and thank goodness I don't have to use the fob anymore. I do notice phantom drains but that's because I have some strange settings on such as it unlocking/locking with my phone close by. Turned it off at midnight so we're good. I still see the original owners old destinations. I bet he's probably here somewhere. I am going over the speed bumps gradually. Seems like it's the front drivers suspension area. It actually sounds like a plastic panel clunk (very low tone). I would like to get under there and look at it but seems like everything is pretty sealed with those plastics and didn't want to remove them to inspect it at the moment. I barely had time to drive it around but this weekend will spend a good amount of time with her and the other half. Let see how long until I miss my sports sedan! YES i think I'll try conserve mode but I'm so cheap that i think it will wear my fresh meaty tires real fast due to all the torque in the front. I don't have a lead foot at all. I've never had such big tires (on or off road) that's all.

Control your foot and you won't destroy the front tires. Easy to engage before you get on the highway. I've used Conserve mode a fair amount and my front tires are tracking pretty close to my rear.

Efficiency falls off a cliff at about 75 mph and up. Conserve mode will increase your efficiency by about 10%, and I think it can help even more at lower speeds.

Anyway, enjoy your new truck. Put it in sport mode and let it rip a few times.

Hey guys, on the lookout for one of these but have no idea which ones are more reliable. Early VINS or latter?
Thank you all and trying to get some information before placing an order. Would you guys prefer local dealerships or ordering directly from Rivian? I don't like to deal with salesman PERIOD. Thanks again!
early VINs were more bespoke with less Taylorism. but they did tend to spontaneously flip over.
