Back window replacement needed -- pricing and availability?

Just pick up my R1T yesterday from getting the back glass replaced due to something hitting it while parked in the garage. No other damage. Cost $8,650 and 2 months of it in the shop due to the collision center breaking the roof glass when pulling the spoiler off and not having all the correct parts. Also almost all of the parts they had to take off are single use which is not cool Rivian.
Pain in the butt!
Initially Rivian service said they wouldn’t replace back windshields but when I stopped by the other day the guy at my local service center said they could have done it…. So who knows.

it's absolutely NUTS, it's completely indiscriminate, just entire lines of vehicles block after block, all with windows smashed out

I heard, but don't quote me on this. One of the reasons criminals do this is because the laws changed and the consequences are little or none?

Cost $1543.88 including tax to get the rear window repaired on my R1T when I put a branch through it. The only place I could find that had Rivian glass in stock.
He also owns an R1T and has been to Normal for training.
Took 2 days. Mainly because the glue has to drive for a day before you use tbe vehicle.

I actually drove my R1T to SF last weekend and didn’t have a problem. Guess I was lucky.

Just get Rivian to replace - the glass company will take forever and ever - I had an Early model 3 with a need to replace said glass - it was a nightmare and in the end Tesla replaced it etc.
