Unfortunately, I am not that up to date on Spotify, Tuned In, etc. I do know how to bluetooth, as I listen to audiobooks while driving now. But I would like to have an XM unit, as I have been a user since Sirius launched.

Thanks for the info though.

Since Rivian currently does not have a way to have a wired connection to the stereo system you could either use the SXM app on your phone and stream it to the vehicle via BT, or you could get one of these little units that works via BT, although you would have to install an antenna somewhere on the truck, which usually isn't too hard.

You could get one of the XM receivers thst does Bluetooth, and plug it into the 12v socket under the dash

Ahh. I guess I'm thinking like a tesla owner where there is no button and the car locks the cable in (even when car is unlocked).

That will be nice. We use a chargepoint + adaptor for our 3 and we have to use the app to unlock the charger each time we unplug. Which seems minor. But it's annoying (especially when the tesla app is terrible at connecting.to the car and/or waking it up.

Speaking of...have you noticed any delay in opening the app after the truck has been "asleep" for awhile and getting to a point you can see data or issue commands?
So anyone can walk up and unplug the vehicle? When I'm on a road trip with my 3, I will walk to nearby Starbucks or food place while I'm charging. I like the fact that it locks so no one can just come up and unplug it. I would be livid if I came back after 20-30 minutes to find someone unplugged me!

Thanks for all the info so far!
Would you be able to measure the height of the truck bed in the lowest possible position?

My garage has a weird built cabinet that eats up 28" of depth and comes down a good way where I intend to park it.
I'm hoping to know if i need to hack it up to fit the truck in the garage and be able to close the door.

Are you asking for rear ground clearance on the lowest suspension setting?

Sorry if you answered this. How has "lane keep assist" performed? How does it function when driving and not on cruise control? I read owners manual it turns on after 40pmh. That is same as my Kona. I was surprised, but love this feature in my car.

After reading that TuneIn was installed I signed up for their premium subscription just to see how it functions and overall I like it. It functions similar to iHeartradio where you can listen to local radio stations but also gives you national options for sports and news. Obviously the drawback is that you are only able to listen if you have a cellular signal, but for times when you are traveling the highways it might be a good option.
FYI, TuneIn also has podcasts, which is the main thing I’ve used it for in a Tesla.

Edit to add the quote I was responding to:

It's optional and the settings persist across drives. You can enable a visual alert, an audible alert, or a steering nudge.

It's ok. Its lane interpretations aren't perfect. I find it gets less confused by road patch seams, missing lines, and merges compared to the ID.4, but it's still not perfect. It'll occasionally alert (or even nudge if enabled) when you're dead center in the lane. Unlike the ID.4, I fully expect Rivian to improve their algorithms in future software updates.

It is not a camera, and the view is a little limited if I'm honest...

Based on my test drive, you can keep the rear view camera on whenever you want for an additional rear view. Obviously this limits your ability to use the screen for anything else...

I'm not, sorry if the wording was vague/ confusing.

I'm hoping you could provide the measurement from the ground to the top rail of the truck bed, at lowest suspension setting

There is some overhead storage at the back of garage that I'm hoping the bed will fit under.
A bit of tailgate limbo, if you will.

Got it -- I suspected I was misunderstanding. I'll try to snag that measurement in a bit if nobody else beats me to it. My software update is finally applying, so I can't change the ride height for the time being.

Would be cool if you can provide an update for phone as key after the update. I think you said you were using an iPhone.
