Happy Friday!

How many other people have totally lost their minds 🥳 and exclusively (or primary at least, I am sure there are folks who have space have "other" vehicles) have Rivian's as their household vehicles? ✋

Feels a bit crazy, but we love the brand, the drive quality and the overall utility of our Gen1 R1S LE and our Gen2 RIT Dual Standard. Together we could functionally go camping with kayaks and gear, with 8+ people this summer when my sister and brother-in-law come visit with their kids.

Nothing is perfect, we all know the growth struggles of the company, but I wanted to celebrate what Rivian has accomplished in the few short years they have had vehicles on the road, convincing folks like us to jump in all the way.

Maybe toss up a poll?

Currently our household is a single vehicle, R1T. That said, there are plenty of random other vehicles I'd love to have in general to compliment my Rivian.

Even my old Xterra, had it's quirks, but was still fun to bomb around in from time to time.

Our family of 4 has only an R1T Launch Edition and Bosch ebikes (same motors in all our transportation!). We have a day 1 R2 pre-order on the books as well for a second vehicle but we’d rather it was an R3.

I love my R1T and may get an R2 for the wife but would never be a Rivian only household.

We are on this list for now (R1T and R1S) - hope to stay that way, but time will tell.

We had both R1T and R1S until December. I traded my T for an Silverado EV RST. We still have the R1S and we have an R2 reservation as well.

We are also considering upgrading wife’s S to a Gen 2

I have an R1T. My wife has an Tesla Model X. She'd have a Rivian already, but she wants to downsize, so we're waiting for the R2 to be out. We also have a Wrangler as a third car that will likely be replaced by an R3X whenever that comes out. So, eventually...

I have Teslas also, and quite proud of it. My R1S was the only true SUV in my view available at the time when I ordered it. Had Tesla made an R1S-like SUV, it would be sitting in my garage today instead of the Rivian, or perhaps it would have been a tough choice to make. Rivian it is, and I LIKE IT!
My other vehicle is my beloved, trusty, ultra reliable ICE 4x4 SUV. Use it largely in the winter only; not about to put my EVs through the awful punishment winter driving is, sand, salts, grime, filth on roads, etc.
Over two decades old, and still looking as good as new, my ICE SUV, but, of course, it is a TOYOTA!!

I will always have some sort of sports car alongside my daily driver. The wife is really interested in the R3X, but it'll obviously be awhile before that comes out and who knows if something else will strike her fancy before then.
