Apple Music Skips when Interacting with Nav Map

When I scroll or pinch & zoom on the navigation map while playing Apple Music, the music skips. The navigation map is also quite unresponsive. Has anyone had this issue? Here is a video of this issue.

I’ve noticed this too when using XM radio. Must be a new bug

Mine will be mid song then skips to the next song. Happens with FM, SiriusXm, and Spotify. Don’t play Apple Music much so can’t say about it.

I found this bug after using streaming ... Reset removed the issue for me

Also happens for me when in the Drive Modes screen. Swiping the animation overlay on and off skips the music.

Haven’t yet tried to reset anything.

The resets are the most basic things one could try immediately when encountering software glitches. If the resets don't resolve the problem, the second thing to do is to contact Support and get service—because it very well could be a hardware issue, just one that doesn't trigger any warnings or fault codes (like a bad/substandard communications module or LTE antenna).

So, always, try reset and retest first, to eliminate the most common cause for bad software behavior. And it behooves you to routinely reset after each OTA. An EV is just a collection of computers and software, brought together to function as a car. What do IT professionals recommend the most with personal/work computers and internet modems/routers? Periodic reboots!

I’ve seen this behavior with both screens. Rear and center. Strangely a reset will “fix” it by moving the behavior to the other display. Swiping on the rear display then causes skips. Only on Apple Music with Spatial Audio.

Having this issue, and unfortunately had to reset before my SC appointment for this so it stopped doing it.
