Interesting that the 2022.39 update says that app version 1.8.0 or later will have the ability to

• Enable or disable video recording in the Gear Guard security system.
• Start or stop charging, as well as set a charge limit.

"

Obviously this isn't that version - so I wonder if we will see 1.8.0 on a different cycle or if it is still a month out, therefore not allowing those new features for another month.

Dumb question, but in my app the pictures of my truck show the correct color but the wrong wheels. Do they all just show the 20"ATs or is my app borked?

Is the app bluetooth only? It can never seem to wake up the truck unless I go outside.

I'm getting a firmware update message in the app now but it never gets past 0%. Do I have to put the phone next to the truck?

Same. 21s on my truck, "staple" 20s on app.

Nope. Wi-Fi and cell connection works for me.

Maybe it's just really slow and by the time I give up and go outside it's woken up the truck. The Model S did all this kind of stuff just fine. I just went out to the truck and when I opened it the door it said the update was going to start in a minute. The app still shows 0% and this is like the fourth time I've tried it.

After going out to the truck and opening the door it seems the 5th times the charm and the app now shows its at 61%. Still feels like I have to go out and be next to the truck to get it to do stuff with the app.

Disappointed, I thought this update would give me access to the new OTA 2022.39.1 features, but there is apparently another app update required 1.8.x, yet it is not yet available.
