Anyone with R1S Been Contacted by Guide with Delivery Confirmation?

I know there are a few posts about deliveries in general, but wondering about R1S’ specifically given we’re getting close!

I do not think they were planning any before the March 10 earning call, as they are probably trying to put as many R1Ts out there as possible. But I would welcome any positive news about the R1S right now

As a parent, I find it magical to experience the anticipation of birthdays/christmas/vacations my kids feel - that feeling is long gone in my own world so I live vicariously through them. I also used to think transatlantic flights took forever ( when it really was only 7-8 hours ). However, thanks to Rivian, I am essentially a 4 year old waiting for Christmas - i look at this site every few hours and scour the internet for any substanital R1S update - it would be far more productive of me to channel my energy towards work, but the kid inside me refuses to change. Patience is a virtue and I obviously don't have it.

Long story short - i haven't seen any substantial R1S updates for a while but take the last 72 hours as solice that when it rains, it pours, and our vehicles will be with us soon.

The bad communication in general and complete silence on the R1S since RJ's instagram post from March 2021 really took away some of the excitement for Rivian. Then the pricing fiasco of last week nearly wiped it away entirely.

At a minimum, I am someone who has gone from waiting on a Rivian to someone who will be putting in deposits on 1 or more PHEV SUVs in the next 2 months. If Rivian can deliver the R1S LE in the window it has given me then I'll take it but I sort of think the late 2022/early 2023 deliveries of other vehicles may come first.

Let me do what Rivian hasn't.... They are currently manufacturing the R1S at the factory. At least one was sitting in the lot on 3/5/2022 waiting for delivery to someone.

also, 3 roof racks. maybe that means we can put a bigger tent up there

And the blacked out look looks amazing with the silver piping along the roofline.

I wouldn't be shocked if at some point they run low on R1T parts and we see a bunch of R1S' come out.

The R1T should be a more complicated build with the gear tunnel and tonneau cover, compared to just extra frame & 2 seats in the R1S.

As mentioned above, we know they can build the R1S so I'm not very concerned. Most of the press has been around the R1T so it makes sense to prioritize it.

My current configuration is Blue with black interior. I may have to change it to the Black or El Cap!

Nothing since December when they showed him and the CFO taking delivery . . . .

I saw the chrome, and thought "oh I can have someone do chrome delete on that" - that's my plan for the post and the chrome trim on my LG R1S.

I don’t want a black exterior because of the solar gain, but that nearly-monochromatic look really does it for me.

I wish they did a split white/black like a lot of manufacturers do now. Had that on my Velar (white body, black top) and it looked so sexy.
