Hi All,

I was curious to know if anyone has heard from Rivian on their Guide assignment yet? Didn't Rivian mention that they will start assigning Guides to pre order reservation holders starting in May?

They did say that and seem to still be saying that.

They have 2 more weeks to start reaching out.

I am curious to find out the actual delivery timings on the vehicles. I have reserved R1S LE and they say deliveries begin starting Aug but I doubt it will happen in Aug

another false-hope thread..... :headbang:
Not really, I am just trying to see the timings on Rivian commitments. Since Guides will be our starting point it may give us clues into things to come

At a very minimum guides for R1S will NOT be reaching out in May, I am guessing late July.

We will have a better idea when we see the R1Ts start rolling out.

I am also an LE R1S holder with a later number so I did not expect to see anything until later in the year. They have said a couple of times that they expect to have all of the LE orders delivered in 2021. Without knowing how many LE reservations are out there, it is hard to say if that is still realistic. I hope 2021 is still in play as I was planning on the tax credit this year but if I have to readjust in Q4 I will.

The way things are going it wouldn't surprise me if you have to sign a NDA before the guide will talk to us. ☺

We, the memebers of this forum, would be a good target for Crank Yankers.
Except on this forum that type of hilarity is referred to as “being Chilewich’d”. ?

I will say at this point if no one was contacted by a guide on here yet, especially the super early Nov 2018 pre-orders, they are NOT going to deliver or at most a handful of R1T's in June. I will assume that everyone will have questions for the guides. I would think it will be a 2 hour call? Maybe 1 hour? So realistically that would be 4-8 calls a day per guide. And how many are there? If they start calling next week, and there are a dozen, then that would not be many calls.

I agree, I was also trying to gauge the lead time between us getting to a Guide and then hands on our cars :)
