Has anyone had success getting Alexa to play anything but Amazon Music?

I got Alexa to work with Spotify. I had to download the Alexa app to my phone, sign into Amazon account, change defaults from Amazon Music to Spotify, deleted Alexa app from phone. Now, "Alexa play band/song/etc on Spotify" works

I have had Pandora kinda work. It will even show its icon on the music player screen. However it’s really picky about what stations it will play.

Not with the rivian. Other people were successful with other approaches with phone integration and I am not sure how to do that.

3 out of 4 times I try to use Alexa, it says "I'm sorry, I'm having trouble connecting to the internet". It even does this for vehicle commands like "open the trunk" that should require no internet.

How do I fix this issue? I've done several infotainment resets.

This is happening to me as well, any help?

Has anyone been able to get an in-home Alexa device (echo, show, etc.) to open the hood and/or rear lift gate? Or do anything else cool?? I'd love to be able to say, "Alexa, open the hood on my Rivian" from inside the house and then walk out to the car and have it open.

Would be great if you could use Alexa to fold the mirrors. That and "pressing" my garage door button without having to buy a new MyQ or additional garage door opener would be great. I just need it to press the electronic button!

I used to be able to have Alexa turn on the heated steering wheel, but recently it's just been telling me "there are multiple devices named 'steering wheel', which one did you want?"...

Alexa will open my MyQ garage door opener, just have to enable skill & integration in Alexa app.

Ya, I'm trying to avoid having to buy an entirely new garage door opener just to avoid effectively a button press....seems overkill just to be able to open the door to have to buy a new MyQ system. My current opener isn't MyQ.
