How do you submit a ticket with Amazon. Also if it costs Rivian $ in rental car I’m for it. That may seem shitty but hopefully money talks. It used to work, so to your point I don’t think it’s an Amazon issue

also wassym knew about the issue two years ago so why haven’t they fixed it?

also we pay for connect+. I paid for the full year package to save some money, but I’m going to challenge their service manager for some kind of refund. Doubt I will get it, but I plan to push their buttons. I’m an early adopter and I’m also shareholder. Probably won’t amount too much Except to say I believe in the company, but this is bullshit.
This entails contacting Amazon customer support and reporting the issue. As anticipated, this process was not seamless. I had to tediously explain that this was a third-party device utilizing Alexa and demonstrate the problem while on the phone. Naturally, they were unable to resolve the issue, as Spotify/Alexa functions perfectly with other devices but not with Rivian. In my opinion, Rivian should address the issue at the software level with Amazon and Spotify rather than placing their customers through a futile process to fix it themselves.

Agreed it should not be on the consumer to fix it. I have an SC visit this morning in which I have zero confidence it'll be fixed. Though futile I plan to ask for them to comp my Connect+ until fixed

I have a Gen 1 2022 R1T and have the same issue. Have always had it, but the work-around was always logging out and back in (a total PIA). Now that doesn't even work. This is such a significant issue for me, I'm considering selling the truck. Love the truck, but just too many issues and this is a daily frustrating reminder of that. I've about reached my limits with it. If I knew Rivian was addressing it, that would be one thing, but I've had this issue for years now.

This. I’m with you. Not being able to control music without a voice assistant is very very annoying especially with kids and family in the truck.

2025.06 installed last night and Alexa/Spotify is working this morning. No idea for how long of course but it did work first time without having to do an infotainment reset.

Same here. It has NEVER worked for me and I just assumed it was a sloppy integration. Similarly, if I tell Alexa to "navigate home," it responds that it doesn't know where home is and I need to set it (how)?

I was actually surprised when people here said that it was supposed to work.

Alexa and Spotify are now working for me as well! Let's hope this is a permanent fix. Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

Worked for a few days But now back to the old behavior
Urgh... well that is extremely frustrating. Did an infotainment or full reset fix things like it used to or is it back to fully broken again?
