Hey everyone,

Quick heads-up: Only a few Air Cruisers are left from our next batch landing May 20th — and once they're gone, that’s it until at least June.

If you’ve been dreaming about easy, spontaneous adventures with your Rivian, this is the rooftop tent designed to make it happen.

Here’s why Rivian owners are loving the Air Cruiser:

  • Massive interior space — The Air Cruiser is about 50% taller than standard RTTs. That extra headroom completely changes how it feels inside — light, open, and genuinely relaxing. Dual skylights and huge windows let the outdoors pour in.
  • Perfect Rivian fit — No overhang, no wasted space. The Air Cruiser sits perfectly on your truck bed, with room to spare for extra gear.
  • Lightweight and aerodynamic — One of the lightest RTTs on the market, designed to ride perfectly within the Rivian’s aerodynamic profile. Practically zero effect on range.
  • Fully automated setup — Just plug it into your Rivian and the Air Cruiser fully self-assembles in seconds. No poles, no rainfly, no stress. It’s incredible to watch — and even better to experience after a long day on the trail.
  • Sleek, modern design — No boxy rooftop bricks here. The Air Cruiser looks like a cabin in the sky, matching the clean, futuristic lines of your Rivian.
  • Built for every adventure — From desert heat to mountain storms, the Air Cruiser is built to thrive in the wildest conditions.

Normally $2999, you can lock one in from this May batch for $2399 plus shipping — $600 off.

Important: Due to tariffs, we’re keeping shipments small. We’re absorbing the extra costs for now, but pricing could change after this batch.

Once these are gone, they’re gone — and we can’t guarantee this pricing in June.

I'll drop a few teaser pics below from the last batch landing:

I know these are _called_ a roof top tent, but can they be used on the ground? (like if say someone has issues climbing up on top of an SUV...)

I wonder that myself… prior to hoisting on to my R1S it laid on the ground for a bit. However, I never unfolded it to know for sure. The issue will be the rails on the bottom of the tent that attach to the roof do not exist on one side of the tent after unfolding. So while the built-in padding is comfortable enough, you may be slightly lopsided unless you add about an inch of support.

My Red Canyon R1S is pictured in @AirCruiser post. All in all it was a successful trial run, though be sure to have the ladder at a steep enough angle to support the unfolded side. Ours slipped and it caused that side to collapse a little, putting a lot of pressure on the support brackets attached at the hinges.

Where are they manufactured?
They're manufactured in China by Wildland, one of the world’s leading rooftop tent manufacturers. Cinch is a U.S. company based out of Wyoming, run by a pair of British guys — a truly international outfit. :)

Here’s a short video about Wildland if you’d like to take a look: . They've been in business for over 30 years, and many of the innovations you see across the rooftop tent industry have come directly from their factory.

Cinch has been around since 2009. In fact, we were a company founded by our customers — we crowdfunded the original tents we launched and many more since. We were also the first to integrate solar technology into consumer camping tents, along with a host of other industry firsts.

The Air Cruiser was developed in close partnership with Wildland, following several previous collaborations. There's a huge amount of expertise and R&D behind it, developed over several years — and we couldn't be prouder of the result.

Cheers,

Jake

Sure, you could do that no problem, you'd just need to make sure the base was level when folded out, so you'd have to work out some sort of support, two little blocks would do it.

Those brackets and hinges can take a lot, you'd be ok but the ladder is definitely needed as well. You don't want it too steep that it would slip, a standard ladder angle is the best :)

And thanks for letting us use the pics, they're great ;)
