I have not use it since service center changed out the control panel due to reading tires at psi higher than supposed to 2 months ago. All my tires was at 44 psi today and need to be at 48 as recommended. for the first 3 tires, it went smoothly with small stop and go action and stopped at 48 psi. For the last tire, it keep going continuously (not stop and go ). I have to manually unplug it and read the pressure at 53. If I didn't pay attention, it would be big troubles. Is there a way to tell the current pressure of the tire when it is pumping?

Yeah, you have to read the manual on how to use it, because it doesn't work the way you might expect it to work.

A Rivian SC rep told me that I should have the tires at 50 psi on my 20"s.

Guessing it wasn't in setpoint mode when that happened. Always check that it says Set before activation and that it is flashing Set after activation.

Yes. In 'Set' mode, the pressure is continually displayed on the inflator. It pauses to let the pressure equalize to get more accurate readings before continuing to inflate if needed.

you need to set the PSI before each tire/equipment you inflate. you can't assume its set each time if you only manually set it the first time. intuitively you'd think it works that way but from the manual it does say you should check to make sure the compressor says "Set" before you start inflating another object.

It also can timeout resetting what you had set for PSI.

PSA: you should always double check whatever work the SC has done immediately after you get the vehicle. dont take their word or their paperwork at face value.

Thank you. I think that is what happened on the last tire. I assumed that it would do the same thing as the first 3 tires.

This has happened to me ever since two updates ago, it used to work fine. Now 2-3 of my tires will fill up to like 58psi even though it's set to 48. It's on a service ticket along with a list of other things, so we'll see what they say/do.
