Do a quick search. Many of us have these installed.

My R1T arrived with the track already installed for the Rivian sliding tonneau cover. I had a Lomax on my Honda Ridgeline and really liked it. My (maybe issue) is with the track already installed for the Rivian sliding tonneau cover, will it be a problem to install the Lomax?

When I do a search the entire forum for “Lomax” or “Agri-cover” it says “No results” for both. Maybe a technical issue on my end.

The only problem I see is what could happen in event of a rear collision where the extruded AL rails are shoved forward. There is at least one installation video on Youtube.

After my experience with this tonneau cover on my Ridgeline, I decided to order their new carbon fiber cover. (Checking into what Rivian's OEM manual cover would cost, I decided to invest in the carbon fiber, Lomax). After all, the bottom of my R1T is covered in carbon fiber so I may as well make most of the top, with carbon fiber.

Very interested in this. CF is great and very strong but it does scratch. Wondering if they have done anything to help prevent scratches.

Not sure how to get scratches on top of the tonneau cover. I don't travel with anything riding on top of the cover. I guess I could use it to store tools or something heavier on top when parked. Not something I do or even did when I owned their previous coated aluminum cover on my Ridgeline. I guess if I hauled gravel and filled it to the top of the bed, it may scratch the bottom of the tonneau cover...I have to say that this cover is pristine and I don't see any way it could be scratched in the foreseeable future on my R1T.

You scratch them by temporarily placing things on them when loading other items into the truck.

Ah, well, I don't do that. Especially with it folded it would just be unhandy to use it that way for me. I have used the previous one for about 8 years and 300,000 miles of transporting equipment in 4 states. I recently sold the previous Lomax and it pretty much looked like the day I took it out of the box. I don't expect this carbon fiber to look any different in a few years. I will say it is textured about the same as the old aluminum Lomax was. They looked a lot the same. The difference is the carbon fiber is lighter...

My biggest concern is where the ‘feet’ hit the cover when fully opened. Look forward to hearing how it does.

For everything about this quality tri-fold cover I invite you to look them all over at lomaxcover.com. You shouldn't have any questions after looking this over.

I do not have experience with Lomax covers but they do seem good. I have plenty of experience with CF.. The CF finish is my only concern. Hopefully they have taken precautions to ensure the integrity of the CF aesthetics. For me, this material choice would be mostly for aesthetics.
Looking forward to CF Lomax owners experiences......
