This "launch green" colored storage case caught my eye in Home Depot. It looked a good fit for the gear tunnel. Bought a pair to check how they'd fit. Ends up they work great. The 30" wide cases fit the gear tunnel 60-in. width nice & snug. The height also fits the Frunk nicely with lots of room to pack around it.

Unbeatable deal really if you're ok with cases being stored sideways. The aspect ratio of the gear tunnel makes it unlikely to find cases that fit vertically. But if you know of them, post in a reply please.

Plano Med Storage Trunk 68 Qt. olive green $17.50 ea.

I don’t have my truck yet, but I’m looking for cheaper options. I’m saving the box from my Dyson vacuum cleaner.
I like your license plate!

I have this saved in a list. I think someone posted it here awhile ago but who escapes me.

EDIT: found the original thread:

I like this one for the Frunk, but having the two Plano boxes for the Gear Tunnel as a "right now" solution solves my immediate needs. I will use them to replace the two old storage boxes that hold all of my camping gear that I like to have in an enclosed structure for ease of access and ease of storage when not camping. I'm sure that there will be better, more custom fit solutions for both areas in the near future. But for $17.50 each, what LoneStar found at Home Depot will do just fine.

FUN FACT: Plano lists the exact same storage box for $44.99 plus shipping. They don't even have the dimensions listed! SMH
