My kiddos backed the truck up into a tree (see attached photo).
Took it to the Rivian approved shop outside of Portland (Precision Body and Paint) they quoted me and eye popping $11,500 to fix it by cutting the side panel in half and replacing it.
I then called up TAPS (paint-less dent repair) and the gentleman, Todd, said he believes he can get it back to 85%-90% of shape and then I could likely have some filler put on and sanded to smooth it out before having it repainted.
This seems like a more economical way to go.
My question is, does anyone have a shop in or near Portland they'd recommend to have do this? I don't really wanna go back to Precision as I feel like because they're the "Rivian approved" shop, they just charge you double.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
