thanks for the direction! I was successful since posting after googling how many Oz in a Gallon it all made sense.

I did order from GC, in fairness they did email me last week after nothing for about 2 weeks saying demand was high and shipping was delayed. Got it Monday so about 2.5/3 weeks

I called Rivian SC today asking about the windshield washer fluid. Strange, but they just wouldn't share the info. Instead, they skirted around until eventually stating the comparable windshield washer fluid brand would be RainX. I need windshield washer fluid asap. Ordering the GC brand isn't an option because it won't arrive in time (based on previous mentions here re delivery time). Anyone have experience (positive/negative) with RainX? We're going on a road trip, there might be snow, but certainly there will be freezing temps.

It's just washer fluid. Any brand will work. Get all season variety if you're worried about freezing. People are worked up over the GC because they like the smell.

Ohhh, thought it was so much more than just about the smell ? (i.e., the specific chemicals used, the proportions of chemicals used, how the windshield fluid residual/splatter onto exterior paint could affect the paint based on the particular fluid's chemicals, etc...).

I don't remember what the original Rivian smell is. Next time I'm ever at the Rivian SC, will definitely have them fill up the windshield washer fluid reservoir with their secret sauce. ? For now, RainX.

I believe you that it smells great. Obviously, I smelled it when I first received my R1S (just can't remember it). The bigger question is, if it's so great, why is it only in the windshield wiper fluid? Does the smell not live in/exist as an air freshener?
