Added a splash of color to the front -- wrapped front tow hooks with yellow paracord

I purchased some yellow paracord and wrapped the front tow hooks. Not bad, but the color is not quite the same (needs a little more orange in it). It may get dirty and not clean well--time will tell!

This looks great! It's subtle but still adds a pop of color to your ride.

I like this. It's too bad they didn't keep the yellow hooks from the original prototypes. But I'm sure they didn't hold up to actual use (paint would likely get scratched off).

I thought the hooks were still painted, but now in silver instead of yellow. Are they truly bare metal?

Probably went with loops because of the extra weight of the vehicles.

They are not painted. Bare metal.

I just scraped some bird poo off a hook with my finger thinking it was chipped paint.

In my not-an-expert opinion, they are a polished metal. It definitely doesn't _feel_ like a painted surface.

Thanks for investigating! It’s not a show-stopper either way, but polished metal sounds better to me. I’m still getting soft shackles because of the nearby plastic…
