Thank you for posting this instructional video. I found it helpful as I have an A2Z adapter on the way to me. As soon as I get it, I plan to run a test charge at the Tesla Supercharger over in Destin.

Great idea to test out before first road trip with it.

The Tesla supercharger made for an easy trip from Maryland to Orlando FL in July. It's great to have another charging option.

I can confirm it’s a very user friendly adapter and A2Z has solid customer service as well.

Thanks for making a detailed video.

Great video, Ken. Thank you!
I don't like to leave to adapter in the vehicle while the NACS plug is unplugged. I'd prefer to remove the adapter and the NACS plug from the vehicle first and then remove the adapter from the NACS plug.

I haven't tried mine yet but the disconnect order is confusing. To take the cable out first, don't you have to push the latch all the way, thus unlocking both sides? So you have to hang onto the adapter anyways, might as well remove from vehicle first.

20 or so charges with the A2Z adapter and no issues thus far (since April). I have a Lectron and factory Rivian/Tesla unit, but I have yet to bother to test those as the A2Z unit works so well.

Real game changer with v3/3.5 SC access!

Thanks for the review. A question though: do you have any idea of when the A2Z adapter may get UL certification?

It's an excellent adapter that's easy to use and has a durable quality feel to it. No finicky triggers or secondary lock mechanisms. Highly recommend this one folks. If you combine it with their Stellar adapter you can save even more.

Use code EOUTDOORS @A2ZEV to save 10% on your order!

Thank you so much for this. I posted a thread back in the summer, when I did NOT do a test charge, and had the first generation A2Z adapter with the sliding lock, and it was a fail.
However, I am happy to let everyone know, I called and emailed that I had a faulty adapter, and they quickly sent me a new one. To my surprise, no sliding lock. Others must have had the same problems as I had, and they did an update. Will do a test charge today.

Your welcome. Yes, this is probably how I will do it too. For me it's easier to remove the adapter and then unplug the SC cable.

Your welcome. No AFAIK the UL2252 is still in draft. Both A2Z and the Lectron unit are built to comply with it but my understanding is neither can be certified until the standard is finalized.

Ha, I just tested out my newA2Z on a new Tesla V4, nearby. It worked fine. Only after I got home did I discover the V4 has a built in adapter. Now I am going back and try it again without the A2Z adapter.
