A2Z recall - updated lead time?

This is regarding the voluntary recall that A2Z is doing with their first gen NACS adapter. I placed my request with A2Z for a replacement adapter on December 10. Aside from the initial acknowledgement of my request, I have received no updates. It’s approaching a month now. Has anyone else experienced a similar delay?

I submitted my "claim" 11/9 and received my replacement 12/30. No updates in between. Upon filing the claim, A2Z said they were going to provide instructions re: the old/bad one, but have not done so. Doing a quick search they are simply having users dispose of them.

Mine shipped last week and I requested it just after thanksgiving.

they are pretty backed up with the volume of replacements, plus the holidays.

I’m the OP and I just received the strangest email from A2Z today. I already submitted the photo of my adapter and order information, so not sure what this is about. My name is not Yanet, so have no idea what that means. 😳

I just received my tracking number a few days ago. They had a backlog and are getting to it.

It may not still be the case, but the workers at the Canadian postal service were on strike for several weeks towards the end of the year. This may have impaired A2Z’s ability to roll out their replacement orders in a timely manner.

Also remember the items are shipped from Canada so there is a whole customs clearance process these adapters must undergo when they’re sent to the US.

This was a big thing impacting shipping both ways - everything essentially shut down. It looks like it's back up and running as of a few days ago though.
