Having developed over a lifetime a level of cynicism and caution about "PR" and advertising by companies trying to get my money, I approached this post and its video with doubts. But you know, it is kind of moving. I think this guy (RJS) is the kind of the real deal. Not perfect (no one is), but sincere and so motivated to make things better.
I was particularly moved to hear that what I imagined might be happening behind the scenes during the very early years outlined in the OP actually were happening (e.g., doubts and struggles, rejections and obstacles; all of which had to be overcome by RJ and his gradually growing team).
If you are interested at all in the history of this company (into which you have invested) and its leader, let me encourage you take the time to listen to this interview (from the recent South by Southwest event in Austin?).
