Just want to confirm. So before you WERE pressing the pedal to stop the vehicle. But NOW you have switched to one pedal driving. Do I have that correct? So I just took my 2023 R1T in for the 7,500 mile service, currently at 9k due to scheduling and here are some details.
Service Location: Costa Mesa Service Center
Service Type: Express service. This is something new they are offering where you wait, and the work is done in less than 1 hr.
Brake Pad Status: Fronts at 10mm backs at 9mm. Looking really good. was using the blended regen have since disabled to maintain more pad life. Service center confirmed this is the best way to ensure no break usage unless you press the pedal. I asked for cost on replacement ad to do the service for replacement no discount $2k per axel for pads and rotors. They also confirmed rotors cant be refinished. At this rate brakes will need to be replaced at 100k miles.
They will not do the 7,500 mile service with Mobile. I’ve asked a couple of times, and they say it needs a service center. How much was 7500 mile service? Can it still be done Mobile? Did you have to schedule a appointment months ahead?
It was offered to me as mobile. Same cost as at the SC. $100. Might be up to the mobile tech and their comfort level and distance to SC?They will not do the 7,500 mile service with Mobile. I’ve asked a couple of times, and they say it needs a service center.
When you rotated yours tires did you notice any newly introduced rumble, wobble, or anything? Any balance required? I'm just curious how these tires wear as I'm coming up on my 7,500 mileage as well. A previous heavy SUV I had (ICE) was impossible to rotate tires because a pattern would be worn into the tires resulting in a terrible ride if a rotation was attempted. So I just took my 2023 R1T in for the 7,500 mile service, currently at 9k due to scheduling and here are some details.

Tires: 7/32 all around on the 21". I do rotations at 5k miles. I was informed they are seeing tire replacement on all models at 16-20k miles. If this is the case, I will be switching to 20" Type 52 rims and tires on my 3rd rotation at 15k miles. Let's see how this turns out. I am on pace to do 18k miles a year.
Suspension: Perfect condition no issues. I asked about replacement cost on the air shock, and they showed me a quote with no discount of $1k in parts and 1.5H in labor. $1500 for out of warranty replacement. This is really good news!.
Overall: Very good, excellent experience at the CMSC. I am not so happy about the tire news but at least we have options to go to 20". Also had a recall on the mobile charge unit where they replaced some parts.
When I rotate them they are rebalanced. No wobble bump or worst ride. Car tracks straight without touching wheel. I would be interested to know what your tires read at the inspection. Also what size rim and tire do you have? When you rotated yours tires did you notice any newly introduced rumble, wobble, or anything? Any balance required? I really appreciate your post. Thanks!
No always used high regen. When you have blended braking on in settings where brakes are used when regen is not available you have no clue when brakes are being used. To really be sure turning this setting of insures the only time breaks are used are when you press the break pedal.Just want to confirm. So before you WERE pressing the pedal to stop the vehicle. “Blended regen”? I’ve always assumed that I was using nothing but regen and saving my brakes. Is this not the case? I’ve kept my setting for regen on high.So I just took my 2023 R1T in for the 7,500 mile service, currently at 9k due to scheduling and here are some details.

Yea, how do you schedule this? I am in Boston - do I call? I don’t see anywhere in the app to schedule this specifically.I haven't had a 7500, because the services were offered as I approached 22,5. I called for a 22,5 and was told my nearest SC doesn't have that service code yet. I'm over 25k now with one inquiry shown in the service tab of my app.
Zero calls or follow-up from Rivian since I originally inquired almost 2 months ago. Mustn't be that important!
