I think pricing the CT below the X/Y would be a mistake, since anyone who isn't turned off by the CT size would probably go for that instead? If it's cheaper and better, and the only real drawback is the size, why wouldn't a lot of folks swap over?
Seems like there'd be a bit of cannibalization of orders in that case. I don't expect the most popular CT variant (whatever that ends up being) to be cheaper than an X or Y.
