Scratch my last question. I was advised to go LT due to weight of truck and torque. Be interested in your thoughts after getting them installed. TY
If you don't tow or go off-roading a lot, you got talked into buying pricier LTs. SL and XL are fine as long as the tire can handle load of vehicle. That's why it's important to know your GVWR and load rating of each tire you consider.

I've been wondering about this as I look forward to replacing my Pirelli ATs. Efficiency is very helpful but I do offroad in the rocky Rockies and lost a Pirelli to a sidewall gash. Seems like the Open Country LT is a bit overkill for me but I don't know if the SL is tough enough.

I ended up having issues with my Toyo. They think one was out of round. They couldn’t replace them so I switched to nittos. Happy with the change. Much quieter.
Bummer the toyo's had an issue. Got any pics of the Nittos? Which model did you get exactly?

Called DT today, they reached out to Toyo and were told these are on backorder with no ETA. Any other good recommendations for replacing worn stock 20" Scorpions? New K03's, Falken WildPeak, etc...
I’ve been having a bit of FOMO as I read about these Toyos and the great range they seem to get…. But in every other respect, the Nokian Outpost nAT set I put on a few months ago has been fantastic—way quieter than stock 20s, better traction in all contexts I came across (especially mud and snow, though not as good as the Hakkapeliitta LT3s I recently swapped to for winter here in VT—which should come as no surprise).

I still don’t know how the Outpost nAT compares for range, since temps dropped around the time I installed them, plus my scorpions were pretty well on their way to being worn when I got my Quad demo (at 10k miles—replaced at 18k miles, with very premature and uneven wear, due in large part to a bad alignment, but also I think due to the generally not-great tire that comes stock on the 20s). I’m hoping for no more than 10% range loss, but I fear it might be a bit more in the hilly places I mostly drive due to the magnified effects added weight has when steeper grades and rolling hills are involved.

there are several threads about the Outpost, and at least one YouTuber has multiple reviews on them (José from Rivian Updates), though being based in Florida likely gives him the most ideal conditions to get good range numbers, which haven’t seemed to track in my experience—though again, I haven’t had proper conditions to really test them, and likely won’t until next spring/summer.

They look sweet, ride well, have tons of tread (18/32nd), are way quieter, and have better soft/slippery surface traction—so as long as they last well (which I expect they will), I think they’re one of the top contenders and shouldn’t disappoint.

I went with the nitto G3 Terra grappler G3. Same size, 116 load. Very happy with them. Can’t tell if it’s the same range but they are much quieter and smoother than the toyos I had.

Just put the Nitto Terra Grappler G3 116 on my R1T to replace OEM Pirellis. Agree very quiet, good looking and did well in snow driving today.

Bumping to revive this thread and get it back on topic.

Who's got more feedback and/or efficiency data to share for the 275/65/20 116H Toyo AT3 EV?

I'm sitting at 1.82 with about 1k miles. For comparison, I was at 2.35 with the 21's and stock tires in the summer. 2 big caveats:

1. Temps dropped right around installation time.
2. I discovered setting stability to "reduced" locks the rear motors on all the time and I've been driving that way ever since.

EDIT to confirm that I am accounting for the 3% difference with the larger tire size.

I'll also add that I'm in a dual motor non performance and drive with wreckless abandon for range. Commute is 80% hwy and I stay around 80mph, traffic slows me sometimes, sometimes I'm faster.

Just put these on yesterday with new wheels. Ride feels better. 30 miles in on a drive I normally do, increased efficiency but way too early to say if this will hold. However, ride feels better. Happy with them so far. Will share more.

Thanks for posting - it's a nice looking tire. I'll need tires sometime this year and am really hoping that the SL version is available when I do.

That’s what I ordered. Ride is very comfortable but could be placebo effect. Haha! I’ll update in another 500mil.

Oh - perfect! I don't know if I could tell the difference even if I had zoomed in...I just assumed that they were the LT's. Another "Thank You" is in order!!!

Hello, I am doing my research regarding replacement tires, and came down to the Outposts NAt, or the Toyos EV, either in LT or 116H. Do you still have the Outposts on? What is your experience so far, as far as comfort, feel, and efficiency? Thanks!

Any update you can share regarding efficiency, performance, ride quality and noise now that you have had them awhile? Thanks!

Just had the Toyos EV III in 116H 275/65/20s put on to replace the Stock Pirellis on my 2022 Quad R1T. Too early to tell much but they do feel a little bit firmer than the Stock. But so much quieter. Will update once I get a few miles on them. 35k on the original tires.
