As a stockholder (and R1T owner) I have always considered Rivian’s “stack” to be worth at least as much as their fiercely loyal owners and their elegant design. If they are acquired by VW that goes out the window. Rivian’s best option for long term survival/success is to be able to license their software/ hardware interface to legacy car makers.
