Great write up! I came from a 2018 Raptor, and the only thing I miss is that big landing space in the back when you flip the seat up. My lab now looks at me like... "where the hell should I jump to?"

During subzero weather, I try to fast charge prior to each leg of a 90 mile commute in order to get the battery up to 70 - 90F for the road trip thinking that it would improve efficiency. It does not. I got 1.6 mi/kWh and 1.2 mi/kWh there and back with a warm battery the other day when it was 7F. .The heat pump is LOUD though, LOL.
It's a 30% drop in Range. Meaning if I charge to a full 420 (rarely do), I can maybe get 300 miles. But for half of December and a good chunk of January it never got above 25*. It's also very windy where I live which reduces the Feels Like temp even further. Then driving 82-83mph hurts it as well.
I'm looking forward to see what warmer temps do for me in late March early April.
I think you'll be fine. Idaho and Northern Utah will likely be the roughest part but you might even get to use the RAN in Twin Falls!!! Depending on your route parts of eastern Washington and eastern Oregon might be tough. As long as you have a Tesla adapter I think you'll be fine. There's a really nice one in North Ogden. I think it's 325kW and it's usually empty so you can really fly.Nice thread and glad you like your truck! I had a few teething issues with my May '23 build, but it has been pretty much everything I've ever wanted in a vehicle.
I'm going to derail slightly and ask about I15 - I'm planning to tow from BC to St George in a month and had thought I15 looked pretty good from a charging perspective, but I'm wondering a bit now based on your comment...
Tri coat? Looks brilliant!Stunning. Here was mine...
