My estimate was about the same and I only have 9,000 miles on my R1T. I think being a 2022 and about to be considered 3-years old once 2025 comes around is affecting the value. Regardless, considering the preorder price, I think it's a reasonable trade-in value. It'd reduce my sales tax considerably as well.I was curious - '22 R1T QM Large, 20k miles: $56.2k trade-in value.
Not bad considering original purchase price of around 77k with options (some of which I would be keeping).
I'm in no position to buy right now. Had some major business expansion expenses over the summer that are still awaiting an ROI. I still love my truck and plan to keep enjoying it.
However, come holiday time, I'll take a second look. I'm sure my trade-in value will be a little less, but stacking with $7500 on a lease and if any friends and family discounts are available I might go for it. Doubtful, though, as the ROI on my business expenditures are taking longer to realize than originally anticipated.
