2025 Rivian R1S Pyro Location

I just bought a 2025 Rivian involved in accident. Has a blown airbag. Pyro fuse is not working. I can’t find the Pyro fuse. It is no longer under the dash panel. Anyone know where they moved it? Rivian is not being of much help.

Was this a ”salvage” vehicle? Rivian won’t service this?

I remember seeing something about all of the battery electronics being moved into the battery housing itself. There's a compartment supposedly accessible from the bottom (so you don't have to remove the battery). Not sure if this includes the pyro fuse though

Fireman’s loop is under plastic cover at rear of frunk, DS side. The loop controls the HV battery cutoff, wouldn’t think they moved when relocated 12V batteries for emergency access?

I think I saw it on the video from like a year ago from Kyle at the gen 2 launch. One of the engineers was talking about the batteries and how they packaged them. He had an empty shell sitting next to him showing it. Not great information, but it's all I've seen personally

After further review, seeing all the HV disconnects, I don't want to be responsible for death if done incorrectly. All I'll say is Gen1 is under the dash, Gen2 is above the rear undershield.

May I ask where you were able to find this info? Wondering if they have any suggestions or a guide on how to access it.

It isn't public info, I have access to the Partner Portal with service guides, parts ordering, etc.

Ah ok I see. I appreciate you getting that info for me. Any idea where I am able to supply the pyro fuse or it is the same fuse for Gen1?

It's definitely not the same, and they likely won't sell direct, big red letters on this one.

That's wild that they restrict the sale of that. A 90 year old grandma can walk in buy one from our parts department on the cars I deal with.
