swflor, I agree with your calculations as mine have been about the same. When I do the math when I put 30% back in the battery and check what the truck says what the kw's put back in are, it prorates to 141 or actually a little better. I just don't understand why it doesn't display what Rivian says it should be.when I get it back later this week from PPF I will charge to 100% and report back. In my road trip last week, I charged to 85% and it showed 298 Miles.
In theory…
141 kw battery
85% = 119.85
298 / 119.85 = 2.486
2.486 x 141= 350 miles in All purpose
If you look on Rivian's website it shows 371 and 405 miles respectively what the range should be. This is my 3rd Rivian and the only one that doesn't display the Rivian claimed range.
As far as charging your truck to 100% when you get it back. You don't necessarily need to do that. Just hit the lightning bolt in settings which takes you to your energy window. Under your display miles it will say for example 250 miles, and under that it will say miles in all purpose or whatever mode you are in. If you touch that box it will display a window showing how many miles you have at the current rate of your charge and what miles you will have at 100% in conserve, all purpose, and sport mode. It will show all 3 projections.
